​Hawaiian Volcanoes

Here are some tips on how to ensure your safetey when in Hawaii.

Tip 1.

​        Stay informed about recent eruptions, and predictions about eruptions. We now have technology that allows us to predict the path of lava flow. Knowing the path will help you alot, especially because Kilauea has erupted and there is currently lava flowing all over Hawaiis big island.

Tip 2.

     

        Never assume anything about a volcanoe's activity. If you are thinking about hiking up one of hawaiis active volcanoes, make sure that you are running no risks when doing so.

Tip 3.

           Try not to go to the big island. It has the most active volcanoes out of all the hawaiian islands, and currently dealing with lava flow from Kilauea.
